Dr. O’ Neal is an environmental scientist and bourbon lover. She is passionate about saving the planet.
She saw a chance to combine her passions using her business as a force for good and New Dawn was born!
Her pursuit of fair and eco-friendly practices is intertwined with authentic collaborations and investments in diverse communities, from the farmers who cultivate her grains to the moment you savor her beverages.
We started working on this project in late February 2024. The target was to be on shelf by Juneteenth. We managed to source liquid, componentry and design the product in two months, bottling on May 31st.
The design brief was to keep it simple, elegant, and let the whiskey do the talking. We chose recycled paper for the labels to honor the sustainable mission and used gold foils tastefully to add a luxurious feel to the labels.
We launched the 6 Year Old Bourbon on Juneteenth 2024 and released the 10 Year Old Wheat Whiskey the following Fall.
