The U.S. Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) permits the use of specific non-resinous hemp ingredients in alcohol beverages under federal law. These legally approved ingredients include:

Mature hemp stalk and its derivatives
All ingredients must be officially tested and proven to contain no measurable amounts of cannabinoids such as Delta-9 THC or CBD, and must be verified as compliant prior to TTB formula and label submission.
